
Sweden (Coordinator): Linköping University (LiU), is Sweden’s fifth largest university and stands at position 43 among the world’s 50 best young universities in the latest ranking by the prestigious QS World University Rankings. The university has 32,400 students and 4,100 employees on four campuses. In only three decades, LiU has become renowned for its innovative educational spirit, for its stated ambition to foster cross‐ disciplinary cooperation, and for its ability to involve in fruitful interaction with surrounding society. LiU is an experienced actor in European research projects, and has well‐established processes for project management, project infrastructure, and administrative routines for EU projects through its own Grants Office that serves researchers and departments.

Germany (Partner): Kiel University (CAU) was founded back in 1665. It is Schleswig-Holstein's oldest, largest and best-known university, with 27,000 students and around 3,700 members of staff. It is also the only fully-fledged university in the state which is divided into eight faculties. Seven Nobel prize winners have worked here. The CAU has been successfully taking part in the Excellence Initiative since 2006. Kiel University uses research, teaching and the transfer of science to address the great challenges of our time in health, environmental and cultural change, nutrition and energy. In doing so, it ensures peace and preserves livelihoods for future generations. The CAU uses responsible actions to make sure that scientific discoveries are transferred into all sectors of our society by interdisciplinary thought - regardless of short-lived trends where they are incorporated into political, economic and social decisions aimed at securing peace and prosperity.

Morocco (Partner): Since its creation in 1989, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University has made international cooperation a strategic axis of development. She was thus able to forge privileged relationships with several European universities. The UAE is the only university in northern Morocco and is made up of 16 establishments (6 in Tangier, 6 in Tetouan, 1 in Larache, 1 in Ksar ElKbir and 2 in Al Hoceima). The UAE has more than 125,875 students, including 1,549 foreign students of 49 nationalities, more than 1,335 teacher researchers and 588 administrative and technical staff and offers training fully structured around the LMD educational architecture (3-5-8) . Teaching covers the 4 disciplinary fields (Science and Technology, Human Sciences, Letters and Arts, Law, Economy and Management, Health Sciences) and is based on a modular and semester system.

Switzerland (Partner): Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) is one of the 12 certified public universities in Switzerland and member of Swissuniversities. It is organised in six Faculties and is active in several study and research areas, among which: architecture, communication sciences, computational science, data science, economics, health studies, humanities, informatics, law, medicine and biomedicine. USI is a young and lively university, a hub of opportunity open to the world where students are offered a quality interdisciplinary education in which they can be fully engaged and take centre stage, and where our researchers can count on having the space to freely pursue their initiative. 4'190 students and 1'335 professors and researchers, hailing from 115 countries, convene every day on the four campuses in Lugano, Mendrisio and Bellinzona.

Switzerland (Partner): The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) is one of the nine professional universities recognized by the Swiss Confederation. SUPSI aims to be a vocational, multidisciplinary, innovative and Latin-culture university, prominent in Switzerland, a network-creation leader, both in Switzerland and internationally, in the academic, business and political-institutional contexts. The majority of the students come from local territory, and, on completion of their programmes, they possess professional skill sets, are highly qualified and immediately operational, able to move around regional, national and international contexts with great flexibility. SUPSI counts about 10,000 students and more than 1200 academic staff members on four campuses across Ticino, the Italian speaking area of Switzerland.

Turkiye (Partner): Having been founded in 1996 by Istanbul Egitim ve Kultur Vakfi (ISTEK – Istanbul Educational and Cultural Foundation), Yeditepe University (YU), in line with Ataturk's principles, with its pioneering and distinguished academic and administrative staff, aims to raise young people who are modern, inquisitive, equipped with all the qualifications that are needed in business world and all the technological skills necessary, well-versed in different cultures and personally well developed. With its contemporary academic programs and applications, our University offers an education needed for people of the age of information.
